꒰ DOS and DONTS :: —♡— !! T♡P!C 2 .·`

꒰ This is a list of DOS and DONTS for OC posts ::

꒰ DO

꒰ O1. have two to three different types of edits. Such as, picture edits, video edits, moodboards, or themes ::

꒰ O2. Be sure to include a short to medium length introduction on what your post contains. Optionally, you can also add details about each edit you create. Such as, time taken, which psd(s), and apps you used. To reiterate, the latter is completely up to you. It is not a requirement ::

꒰ O3. put a cover on your post. It doesn’t need to be highly complex. Any cover will do. As a side note, to be considered feature worthy, all blogs, OC related or not, should have a cover ::

꒰ O4. the hashtag #officialcharacterapplication. This is to make it easier on the mod team and on you as well ::

꒰ DONT

꒰ O1. Rush. There is no need to rush. You have an entire month to post your blog(s), take your time, and add as much content as possible to do your character justice ::

꒰ O2. Apply for a character and not post for them. There may be another member who would like your character. Show ion for your character by posting monthly. ::

꒰ O3. Be rude if someone has a character you wanted Taken Character list ::

꒰ O4. be rude if staff rejects your official character(s) for the reasons stated. If anything, ask questions. Inquire what can be added to have your application accepted. Mods are there to help, in all ways ::

꒰ Below are some examples of the type of posts that meet our requirements and an example of a post that we feel needs improvement ::

꒰ Acceptable Posts ::

꒰ This example meets our requirements regarding aesthetics. The layout is nicely put together. Has a cover and, whilst this is again optional, the poster has added some written information regarding their edits ::

꒰ Similar to the one above, this example is detailed, is aesthetic, and the blogger has opted to write information regarding their edits ::

꒰ Unacceptable Posts ::

꒰ This post has very little content. The very bare minimum. We want to see your work. We want to see what you’re ionate about. Add more content. Play to your strengths. Do you prefer to edit? Add some more edits. Do you prefer to write? Add some written words. The more, the merrier. We have no limit on the amount of content. Again, explanations are optional, but if you feel so moved, add details about what you used to create your edits ::
