Return to the Shadows Challenge 10: Eclipse of the Heart Tarot Spread

Merry meet and merry greet fellow Hatchlings,  I also wanted to mention that I hope everyone has had a restful and relaxing Winter holiday season.  I wanted to continue to work on my shadow since I've had some dark moments this winter season where I pretty much thought I was not going to see the day after.  I am going to provide the analysis of my "Total Eclipse of the Heart Tarot Spread" Challenge.  I do apologize for getting to wordy but I am grateful for this challenge in discovering how I can work with my own personal Shadow, which has been very challenging this Winter season.

Fear:  Three of Wands

This card is a symbol of a fear of developing partnerships or rather building trust withing relationships.  My shadow has always reminded me of being careful who to trust and it promotes this fear of not being able to trust so easily.

Courage:  Page of Swords

My shadow side has helped me find the courage within myself to find new experiences and face unexpected changes in my life.  My courage and curiosity have gotten me into some trouble occasionally.  However, i have to to be aware if not harm may still occur although I may feel like I have protection and strength.

Regret:  The Wheel

My shadow reminds me of my regret in not embarking on my magickal journey and even at times giving up on it.  Society has usually not been one to praise those that embark on their own path.  There are so many things that I wish I could've explored but the only thing that is left is to keep moving forward and gaining further knowledge.

Ownership:  Four of Cups

My shadow also reminds me of the ownership I need to take from problems that may arise from my own past actions.  Own up to my own responsibilities and not dwell in mistakes that I have made in the past.

Guilt:  Strength

My shadow has at times encouraged me to use excessive strength when handling a disagreement or a problem I may encounter.  I am reminded to remain calm and remind myself when to use strength and its intent.

Forgiveness:  Queen of Wands

To me, this reminds me of a personal goddess, Tonantzin, and how she helps me to find forgiveness in myself and allow me to forgive others for harm they may have caused me.  It also represents success for goals and how the goddess has helped guide me in achieving these goals no matter how many mistakes I may make,

Shame:  King of Swords

Shame of not wanting to be harmed on the journey that I am partaking.  The shadow may be keeping me from understanding my own personal will and how I can use it to face the challenges in my life.

Love:  Three of Cups

A symbol of wealth regarding emotional stability from balancing my life with my shadow.  The knowledge gained from the Dragon will help me be successful in finding love for myself and other beings in this world.

Once again, I want to thank my fellow Hatchlings, Azura Dragonfaether, and MoonDancer for helping me discover and learn how to live with the Shadow in my life.  i hope this challenge wasn't too wordy and I wish you all many blessings my fellow Hatchlings.  Thank you for being the burning, bright lights in what sometimes may be my cold and dark world.  Blessed be my friends.
