Backstory

Delfin never enjoyed travelling. After a fairly heated dispute with his family, he ventured out on his own to finally escape and enjoy the arcanum he had so fortunately been born with. After several years of using the shores as a coping mechanism, his body adapted to the shallow tropical waters, contrary to the family he had deeper within the sea hidden from the surface. Though, since a coping mechanism cant change his biology, he still has his own home close to his territory a safe enough distance away to make himself comfortable.

His familial disputes do not mean he is completely isolated from the tidebound community he knows and loves. Still, you will find Delfin teaching the younger elves how to swim really fast and how to interact with water whilst above the surface of it.

Magic wise, Delfin will often rely on tools to bring out his arcanum, as most of his skills that he uses on a daily basis do not require incantations or a conscious effort to activate.

Absolutely despises when the water is too deep. You definitely won't find him going past where common merchant boats through.

He isn't very magically talented. He prefers connecting with the ocean more on a physical level via swimming and surfing instead of spells and combat.

For work he makes sure the area is protected as some creatures are indigenous to the area. This especially applies to those who come to lay eggs in the beaches or come to their high-tide homes. It isn't anything super official but it's honest work.
