Hello every people here. Regardless if you are new or have been here a while you may wonder how everything works. I know my dog brain didnt get everything at first.

Lets bark about the different tabs this Amino has.

From left to right, we have:

This is the Aminos rules. And as you can see, a dragon have written this, and i recomend not making any dragons mad at you! So read trough the whole thing to make sure you dont break any rules.

If you have followed anyone, everything they make will appear here. Its the best way to find the posts that your friends have made. I use it to keep track of what Ellis is doing when she thinks i am not around.

This is where well tought out posts get featured, so that everyone can see it. In my opinion Ellis should be featured more often since she is royalty in my eyes. She was so loving towards me when i lost my leg. And if you want to get featured try to make a post with a lot of effort. The leaders and curators will notice when people really think about what they post.

This is where you can see everything that have been made. There isnt really anything more to it than that.

Here, all chats that are public will be shown. You can just pounce right into one and start barking with others like you! to follow the rules for that spesific chat tho!

If you are new i recomend ing the New Chat! This place is made for new people who wants to start meeting other people right away. But there are some rules that must be followed:

The Royal Ranking is the place where the people with the highest score under each category will be shown. There are five different categories:

Most active.

Last 24 hours.

These are people who have been the most active the last 24 hours. The numbers are calculated in minutes.

Most active.

Last 7 days.

These are also the people who have been the most active, but this time its for a whole week. The numbers as well are calculated in minutes.

Check in.

Streaks.

This is where you can see who has the longest check-in streak on this Amino. The score is devided into three categories. One for everyone who have more check-ins than a week. People with more than two weeks and at last people with more than a month.

Quizzes.

All time.

There are a handfull of different quizzez here on TDPA and when you play a quiz, you will get points depending on how well you did. The people with the most points get put on the top of the list.

Not going to mention that this little dog is on the top right now. I am so smart.

Not.

Hall of fame.

All time.

This is the top people on TDPA. They have the highest level/rep in the whole community. They are usually really active and/or have been in the Amino for quite a while. But you can always try to climb up the ranks. Good luck!

If you draw our mascots and then post it, it will be seen here. If you draw our mascots you will also get a title that verifies you. Meaning you dont need to show proof for a drawing you drew. BUT if someone suspects that one of the drawing you have posted is not yours (because it looks completely different from what we have seen from you. Ether art style of art level), they are allowed to ask for proof!

We will now take a look at the five buttons on the bottom of the screen. Each of them needs a pretty long explanation, so just a heads up of what we will go trough:

The menu is the far left button in the row if buttons.

When you press the menu button, this is what will meet you:

Here you can see your pfp, level, mood, all of your Aminos and a serch bar. Of course everyone have a different pfp and Aminos they are inn, but you get what i mean. If you scroll down you will find more options that you can use. I'll tell you a little bit about all of these options now, in order.

Home

This button takes you instantly to the home screen for TDPA. And the home screen here is the feature page. So in conclution, the home button is a shortcut key to the feature page.

My Chats.

Basicly a shortcut key to your chats. Nothing more. Nothing less. Perfect for a dog like me.

Public Discussions.

This is also just a shortcut key button. This one goes to the public discussions.

Royal Ranking.

Again just a shortcut key to the Royal Rankings. Nearly all of these are just shortcuts.

Wiki.

Nearly. This is not a shortcut! This is a place where all wikies that the author have chosen will be stored. The wikies are sorted into different categories, so that they are easier to find. There are to many categories for me to talk about them.

The first time you visit the Amino each day you will have this button below your pfp:

Hold down that button, then you have checked inn for that day. If you get a streak going, you can get reputation points really fast. If you dont know what reputation points are, dont worry. I will explain it later. Lets move on.

We will now take a sniff around the next button. The online!

Here you can see everything that is going on.

You can tell how many are online and what they are doing. That is pretty much it.

Now we begin with the fun things. Like treats! No, nevermind, but this is still a fun part.

When you press the create button this is what will pop up.

Each of these options do something different. Lets take a good sniff on all of them in order, from top to bottom.

Screening Room.

Just like a public chatroom, but you can watch a video together while barking.

Question.

Questions work like a normal post, but any comments that are made can ether be dug up or dug down. Kinda like a voting system. The comment with the highest vote, will be the top comment.

Public Chatroom.

This is where you can create your own chatroom and have a public discussion with other people.

Image.

This creates a post without any text. You can only add images and the title.

Link.

Here you can link a YouTube video or any other form for links. People can click on your post and link, and watch what you have linked, but does not leave the Amino app.

Quiz.

You can create a quiz that everyone can try! You need at least 7 questions to ask, but you can add many more if you want. You can also add background pictures and messages that pop up when you answer wrong. Be creative!

Poll.

Polls are an amazing way to figure out what to do when you cant decide something. Write what the poll is about and make 2-5 different options for to vote for. After set amount of time, the poll will close and you get to see what option won. Btw have i told you how hard it is to write without fingers? I literaly have to use my nose to hit the letters on this wierd phone. Calm down Ava, dont get stressed. Lets continue.

Wiki Entry.

Wikies are hard to explain. They act like a normal post, but have some key elements to them that makes them uniqe. For one, wikies are sorted on your profile in an easy to understand way. And two, wikies can be attached to normal posts and vice versa. I leave the rest about wikies into your paws to figure out.

Blog.

90% of every post you make,will be a blog. Blogs are your standard form of posting. You write a title, fill in something in the text box, maybe add a picture and bam! You have a blog.

Seeing as we are on the topic of blogs, let me show you the five different fonts for your text that comes with Amino!

We have:

Bold

Center

Strike trough

Italic

Underscore

You get these types of text if you put [something] in a box like this. To get the different ones, you need to put a spesific letter inside that box. For bold you ned to use [B]. To get whatever you write to be in the center, you have to use [C]. Italic = [i]. Strike trough = [s]. Underscore = [u].

When you press the chats button, this is the screen that will greet you:

Here you can view all your chats and pin of your choise. You can also see how many the Amino has at the time. If you are wondering why i have drawn with red over the image, its beacuse i dont need to show everyone what the people i chat with says. And sorry if you are not in the pinned list. I stil love you! I just have it there as an easy shortcut to that persons profile.

The time has come to bark about profiles! I will bark about two main things about profiles:

~Your own profile

~Someone elses profile

Your profile.

When you press the profile button this is what you will be looking at:

You can see your pfp, level, mood, how many Amino coins you have, your reputation, how many followers you have, how many people you are following, how long your check-in streak is, and all the titles you may have. You can do a lot by just tapping diffrent parts of this screen.

If you press your pfp, you get the option to either view it, change it, or add a frame around it.

If you press your mood, you can choose either change it, or switch between being online or not.

By tapping your Amino coins, you get the option to buy more of them.

If you press either the people who follows you or the ones you follow, you can see who they are.

The reputation points, your check-in streak and you level all takes you to the same place.

Here you get to see how long you have to wait for you to get up in level and how your check-in streak is doing.

Back to the screen we were before, you will notice a Edit button. That lets you change nearly everything on your profile. I will let you take a sniff around and see if you can find any toys.

Farther down on the screen you will find this slide:

Posts.

This is where all your posts will be stored.

Wall.

People can comment on your wall, and that is an easy way to communetate with others without needing to start a chat.

Saved posts.

If you find a post you really like, you can save it to your saved posts so that you have easy acces to it. Other people can not see or sniff what you have on your saved posts.

There is still a lot you can do with your profile, but it is your journey to dig it up.

Other peoples profiles.

Other peoples profiles are very simular to yours. The only diffrent thing is that you cant Edit their profile. And the Edit button is replaced with these buttons:

The chat option means that you can start a private chat with that member. And the other button is a follow button. It looks like that when you havent followed them and when you have, it change to this:

And if that person decides to follow you back, it changes to this:
