SLEEPY PEAK LAKE TERRITORIES:

The Sleepy Peak territories, named after the twolegplace a day's travel away, is a wide, varied land surrounding the lake.

North of the lake is a compact, dense pine forest, the ground softened by pine needles and constant rain, but thorns, brambles, and briars are concealed just below the pine needle layer. Clouds seem to congregate specifically over this part of the lake: theory is that its because it is the lowest point, as the other territories are uphill.

To the east of the lake is a widespread forest with trees varying from birch to pine. A clearing opens up to the lake, which connects the twolegplace to it. Small sheds, buildings, and bridges dot the lake shore, which become inhabited by twolegs every other summer.

And, very south of the lake is the highest hills. These hills are vast meadows and moors, lined with gorgeous flowers. This territory is by-far the closest to the two-leg place, the open flat touching the town's buildings with no trees in between.

These territories are home to three groups of cats: PikeClan, SparrowClan, and The Tribe of Blooming Petals.

SPARROWCLAN

SparrowClan is the original Clan from around the lake. They occupy the woodlands East of the lake and are by-far the friendliest group of cats. Any feline who stops by in need of a home is welcome: in fact, the majority of their Clan is now composed of wandering families.

Despite being a Clan through and through, SparrowClan broke into their own traditions. Mainly the coming-of-age ceremony. You see, in SparrowClan everything is about your companions. No apprentice is allowed to become a Warrior alone. Typically, apprentices only a moon or two older than another will be held back until the younger is able to participate in the Warrior ceremony.

The Ceremony is that a group of apprentices, usually four or five but there can be less/more, and one of their mentors must make a trip to the tallest tree, just outside of their territory. The sap secreted from the tree is especially useful in poultices. They must each bring back one branch from the tree, with little aid from the supervisor.

However, due to the discovery of a nearby ravine and an accident in which a young apprentice fell to their death, the Ceremony has been banned.

(Gwen) HAZELSHADE - A slouched, fluffy siamese mix she-cat with vibrant violet eyes and an anxious disposition.

(Niel's Dad) SNAILBURR - A tall, LaPerm tom with wide brown eyes and loud ways.

(Max) CROWPAW - A ragged, fluffy black manx tom with piercing aqua eyes.

(Neil) FIDGETPAW - A brown LaPerm tom with a nervous stance and wide, blue eyes.

(Nikki) WOLFPAW - A blue-gray, marbled bengal she-cat with amber/pink eyes.

(Harrison) GECKOPAW - A scrawny golden tom with stark white paws that never seem to get dirty, bright hazel eyes, and a knack for making things disappear.

(Nerris) LEOPARDPAW - A tall, but lithe for her age house leopard molly with judging ocean-blue eyes. Speaks with a small lisp because of a jaw injury as a kit, but its not noticeable appearance wise.

(Spacekid) FINCHPAW - A short-legged, fluffy cinnamon tom with bright brown eyes and a tendency to lose track of time whilst staring at the stars.

(Ered) PRIMROSEPAW - A tan, fluffy maine-coon molly with steely hazel eyes and a laid back disposition. Opts to respond to Rosepaw rather than Primrosepaw.

(Preston) CHIVEPAW - A frail, fluffy brown siberian tom with amber eyes, and a mane-like ring of fur around his neck. Tends to over dramatize situations and can be quite loud.

(Nurf) BARKPAW - A muscled, large fiery bengal tom with calculating green eyes. His paw pads are curiously scarred and toughened, and he has bad habits of: making brash decisions, lashing out in anger, and using claws during battle training.

(Dolph) HAILPAW - Black and white German Rex tom, patterned with a weird, white mustache-like stripe above his mouth. Blue eyes.
