What year do you think Camp Camp takes place?

Hey, guys. Sorry I haven't posted much, it's been a while. Miss me? Okay, so before I always thought Season 1-4 took place in 2012 and Season 5 took place in 2013 since it takes place 1 year after Season 1-4. But before Season 5 came out and the cancelation of Camp Camp in general, I always thought Season 1-4 took place in 2016. For starters, David was shown to be a child in the 90's, Gwen had a line about her being born or into the 90's, LA Gear Light-up shoes were popular in the 90's, and in Season 5, and Tinder was launched in 2012. Not to mention, Jasper mentioned that he couldn't wait to see the Star Wars prequels, the first one being, "Episode I: The Phantom Menace" which released on May 19th, 1999. Summer camp in the US typically starts May 1st and June 15th, so what do you think? Camp Camp mostly gives me 2012-2013 vibes, but what are your thoughts?
