Purpose {Dreamvid}

Max stared at the tall man beast, a mix of confusion and anger. Why did he look so similar to David? Why was he a weird mix of animals? And most importantly, where the hell was he. The small boy turned away from him and started to walk off into the dark, purple misty abyss of this landscape he was in.

“A-ah..! Max I wouldn’t go by yourself-“ The creature’s voice rang out from the silence.

Max stopped. “What. What’s going to be out there.” He scoffed. “Don’t talk to me.” He went off again, but the tall figure with large bright colored wings followed suit, keeping a sharp ear and eye out for any possible dangers.

The mixed human, animal being’s existence was truly and only know in mind as he was a protector. That’s all he could do and would do for the small child in front of him. He knew his job and he was going to keep to that until his time was up. To disappear into the back of the mind. To only be just a dream.
