All you need to know about the Seiryū Seven!

It's Selena here with another post devoted to another one of our great Seiryū Celestial Warriors.

This blog may help you, my fellow readers, complete a quiz that will be based on the information below.

Voice

In the original Japanese anime, Soi is voiced by Atsuko Tanaka.

In the Japanese game, she is voiced by Youko Honna.

In the English dubbed anime, she is voiced by Melodee M. Spevack.

Compliments (all good things to say)

Soi is presented in a very strong and masculine way even though, deep inside, she has a kind heart and is very feminine.

She is not fully "evil" nor does she have any known evil intentions. All that she does is for the sake of her fidelity to Nakago.

Even though she knows her love is unrequited and that she is only a useful object to Nakago in his plans and actions, she continues to serve him ever so faithfully.

It is revealed that Soi, despite being enemies with the Suzaku Seven, had no desire to purposefully harm Miaka particularly because her envy towards the love Miaka and Tamahome share.

Powers and Weapons

Soi is known to have Feng Shui related powers. She can control lightning, induce electromagnetic fields, and raise and/or drain Fhangzang and Chi.

History

Kaen Haku, also known as Soi, was born in Gen, a province near the Kutou border, to a poor family. As a child, she was sent to a brothel where she grew up.

At the age of twelve, Soi met and fell in love with Nakago after he saves her.

Goals

Soi's only known goal is to follow Nakago to the best of her ability.

Death

Soi dies by saving Nakago from the sword of Tasuki during the battle between Konan and Kutou.

Although it is unclear as to why, Nakago carries her body until he enters the "real" world.

Interesting Facts

Soi was born under the star "room" (房).

In the main series, Soi is 21 years old.
