greetings, fren! welcome to this art dumpster! *awkward finger guns*

:white_small_square: Name:
My name is Reiven. But I sign my work with Rei because it's easier and I don't have to use my crappy signature.
:white_small_square: Age:
15 years of existence. We're all dying.
:white_small_square: Gender:
Shhhhh.
:white_small_square: Sexual Orientation:
I'm an Aro/Ace but you don't have to use labels.
:dizzy:
:white_small_square: How long have I been drawing:
I've drawn since I was 10 but I was.. a dirty tracer. I've taken up art seriously around 2016 (when I was a freshman) and since then I loved it.
:white_small_square: I draw..
mostly in a cartoony style because it was what I grew up with, and what I've seen easier to do. Though I try do/practice realism but it never turns out right.
:white_small_square: Digital or Traditional?
Both! I sketch in traditional but if I like it I would digitalize it or color it in traditionally.
:dizzy:
:white_small_square: Do I ever want to change my talent?

In all seriousness, I would if I feel like I have to. My tastes and preferences change and if I feel unhappy with what I do, I'd move on to another ion. Maybe I'd take up music or editing visual effects...
:white_small_square: My future career as an artist is:
I hope to be able to work freelance or in a company (big or small) in the future. Making prints for random stuff like pins, t-shirts, or concept art have also interested me. I would also like to take up animation.
:white_small_square: Reasons why I love to draw:
It's fun to see the world and have it drawn on paper. But I love to draw to express my iration and love for others (fanart especially). I just think it's a special way of expressing love and emotions. It's cathartic.

:star2: Note for any artist friends and aspiring artists out there: (oof get ready for a long speech)
Never ever compare your art with others art. This is one big mistake I always fall under. It's never good for artists especially when starting out. You are your own greatest art critic. You can check your art and say "I don't like the I draw eyes" and change it; "I don't like the way I draw the nose?" change it to something you think looks good; "My anatomy sucks?" practice from real-life references. Practice. Practice. Practice. Maybe move out of your comfort zone and experiment with artstyles whenever you feel like your art isn't improving. It's hard (I know) but it helps.
Draw for yourself. One thing that always hinders me artless is that I always think, "what if people don't like my art?" Don't think about when you'll post it and how many likes or comments it will get or how people love/hate it. Doodle random stuff whenever you feel like it. You have a sappy shipping idea? Draw it. You saw someting in real life and felt inspired by it? Draw that thing down. List down the random ideas you have in your phone or a journal then draw it when you can. But don't burn yourself out. Take breaks when you need to. Even if you don't feel like your art is improving, never give up.
each other! Enjoy art! :green_heart:
(okay that was too long. sorry. I'm gonna stop this babbling.)
