:beetle: Miraculous Crossover Fic and Edit! :beetle:

Hello everyone!

So, like, a long, long time ago, Shai won a fic request from me when they won first place in a Phanfic Club challenge. Since I finally had the time and inspiration, and it was their birthday a few days ago, I figured now would be the perfect time to get this out! I wrote them a ficlet and made an edit because, you know, I've been on quite an editing spree recently. Although I honestly know very, very little about the show, they requested a fic based on Miraculous Ladybug. I hope you enjoy what I made you, Shai!

Chat Noir sidles up to Phil with a dimpled smirk on his face. The foggy, night-time London air is a little chilly and it's almost nice for him to be close. "So how about a date, my lady? You did promise me quite a while ago and it's never happened."

"Chat, we just finished fighting a villain, could you give me a second?" Phil asks, bending over slightly, hands on his red-and-black-spotted knees. "Seriously. We're here fighting crime and all you can think about it some date?"

"Not some date," Chat says. He runs his claws through his brunette curls and then finger-guns at Phil. "A date with you, Ladybug."

Phil stands straight up. "Well I know... look... it's just..." he stumbles. Truth be told, he doesn't really want to go on a date with Chat Noir. Besides from the fact that dating as superheroes could potentially compromise both of their citizen identities, he's got a roommate back at his flat who he's desperately in love with named Dan. They flirted back in the day, but nothing romantic ended up happening and he now regrets it entirely. He hopes that someday soon, though, he'll work up the courage to finally ask Dan out, and, well, if he's dating Chat Noir as Ladybug, he can't really date Dan as Phil, can he?

Chat Noir flashes a toothy smile. "What's going on in that pretty head of yours? Just fantasizing about this future date of ours?"

Phil shakes his head. "I'm thinking about getting home."

"Oh," Chat Noir sighs, frowning slightly. "Well, if you need to get back home, of course I'll let you. Hey, I've been waiting long enough, what's a little while longer going to do?"

Phil chuckles. "Right. Well, see you later then, Chat."

As Phil slips into a nearby alleyway, Chat calls out, "Goodnight, my lady!"

Even if Chat is a little annoying and awfully flirty sometimes, it still makes Phil smile. He's friends with Chat, after all, it's just that Dan is the one who stole his heart years ago.

After making sure no one is around, Phil whispers, "Spots off," and returns to his normal attire. His Kwami, Tikki, flies into his pocket. After a long night of fighting, Phil can't wait until he can get back home to his flat and, well, back to Dan. It's really too bad that he has to hide his Ladybug identity from him and sneak around all of the time. He wishes that they could know everything about each other.

He makes his way to their flat and opens the door. Phil walks up some stairs and down the hall and sees that Dan is sitting on his bed.

"Hey," Dan says with a grin. His curls look a little more messed up than Phil re them being and his voice sounds a little breathy.

Phil thinks he doesn't want to know what Dan was just doing alone in the flat.

Either way, he breaks out into a smile, too. "Just wanted to see what you were doing, that's all."

Dan lifts up the phone in his hand. "Not much, just scrolling."

Phil nods. "Well, I think I'm going to go to sleep. I'm feeling a little tired."

Dan smiles softly. "Goodnight, Phil."

Turning around and heading into his own room he responds, "Goodnight, Dan." He closes the door behind him and grins like an idiot. It's been years and years of knowing him and he's still so giddy. It's really too bad that it was just the always-flirty Chat Noir that asked him out tonight and not the always-absolutely-adorable Dan.

(Also SERIOUSLY how do Marinette and Adrien not recognize each other??? Seriously?? They are around each other at school and fight crime as Ladybug and Chat Noir!! Like what on Earth?? Their masks don't hide that much! WHY DOES IT TAKE THEM SO LONG? Just writing that little fic frustrated me immensely!!)
