God, this is so close to being late and so far from my best work, but here’s my entry for the drabble contest.
If there was one thing that surprised Dan about therapy, it was how dehydrated it made him. He had never gotten particularly thirsty when nervous, but even after going to therapy for months he still needed to down multiple glasses of water the moment he arrived home.
Once, Dan had just gotten home from therapy when he saw three glasses of water lined up on the kitchen table, along with a note, reading “Thought you might like these, xo Phil”. Dan’s heart warmed at how Phil had noticed without him saying anything, and despite how emotionally drained he was, smiled.
