My Opinion: Dungeons

Hey, it's Sworn Brother Darunia here! This time, a blog about my own opinions on some dungeons. Like usually, these are just my rambling about them. The point is forbidden.

Puzzles

These puzzles are creative, but somehow am I not genius enough to realise simple things like Hookshot in Wind Waker.

Pirate Charm: "You should look around..."

Oh should I really try? *looks around almost a minute* oh there's a hookshot place.

The solving of the puzzles are creative, though.

Music

There are 2 kinds of music in these dungeons and temples.

Dungeons usually have bland, but actually scary repetitive musics. Or no music at all, except when enemies are nearby. These keep the attitude of focusing on puzzles.

The temple themes are usually expressive, and listening to them is somehow satisfying for me. The temples are thus a bit greater.

How They Affect The Game

These dungeons and temples make the game more interesting, and they are one of the main reasons why they excel and advance more than the First-Person Shooters the modern kids play. They dare say Zelda series are worse than FPS. Zelda series' dungeons give challenges and train your brains in many ways.

How They Affect Me

These things are close to me, personally. My favorites are the ones which have Forest-style, like near the Deku Tree in Wind Waker, and Forest Temple in Twilight Princess. I have learned and started to love these games even more due to dungeons. But, these are large obstacles for me as well.

Finalized Opinion

These dungeons (and temples) are better brain trainers than school. They deserve to be 9.2/10, for being a great thing the series have been known for, as well as just by looks. Clearing one is a satisfying achievement. This is Darunia, the Sworn Brother, hot-rod rolling out.
