So I’m going to be judging all the OCs in four categories;

Alright so far I got a lot of interesting entries! But first I think I’m going to review an OC I got called

AMBER!

1. Is the backstory interesting?

Alrighty, so Amber was attacked by the Ink Demon and he corrupted her body to become an ink creature. She somewhat worships him like Sammy. She’s crazy and insane and would refer to her prisoners as “souls”. Once her lover was killed, however, she snapped out of it. She tried to kill herself but was stopped.

Hm, ok so- to be straight it’s obvious this character is heavily inspired by Sammy. That’s not a bad thing though, I just feel like she’s TOO inspired by him. I feel like she’s just a genderbent version of him with a few differences here and there. Maybe tell us more about when she was human. What was she like? Why was she in the studio? Was she an employee, if so what did she do? How did she go from getting attacked to worshiping the Ink Demon? How did the Ink Demon corrupt her?

2. How well the OC fits into the Batim universe?

I mean kinda, again, because this character is heavily inspired by Sammy in default their character would somewhat fit well in the universe.

3. Does the design make sense?

Due to what story we are given I have to say the design makes sense. I know it’s getting a bit annoying hearing me say it again but I still just see a genderbent Sammy. The only difference I see is a ponytail, bandages over the eyes, and a black shirt under the overalls. I feel like this character needs some individuality of her own. In the wiki it says she continued wearing what she showed up in, I say change it where it’s no longer a black shirt and overalls. Make her wear a more modern outfit and remove the mask.

4. Pros and Cons

Pros:

•Art is nice

• The not Sammy-influenced things are interesting

Cons:

•Not enough individuality

•Sammy Genderbend

Not fleshed out
