Hello hello!
It's been a while since our last challenge,
so I decided to come up with a new one.
For this event I will be giving you a few
prompts, related to the Hobbit world.
You can choose one or more of them,
and write a story around it. Feel free to
add your own original characters, as it
will be a fanfiction.
Make sure to include the tag #Story
somewhere in your blog
Now let's see the prompts!
꧁ 1 ꧂
I had just woken up when I heard a
loud bang on the door. I hurried to open it,
only to see Gandalf on my doorsteps.
"Hurry up, [NAME]. If we leave any
later, we won't make it in time for the
festivities!"
.
Ideas to guide you:
You can write this from Bilbo's
perspective or from one of your
original characters'.
Is there a misunderstanding?
Where are the characters going?
.
.
.
꧁ 2 ꧂
In the halls of Thranduil’s palace,
I knelt before the Elvenking, waiting for
his answer.
“You dare come before me to ask for
such a favor?” he said, his voice sharp as
glass.
.
Ideas to guide you:
What does your character need from
the Elves?
How did your character get in this
situation?
Does Thranduil agree? Under what
conditions?
.
.
.
꧁ 3 ꧂
The twisted trees of Mirkwood loomed
above me, their branches blocking out the
sunlight. I had lost the path hours ago,
and the whispers in the darkness were
getting closer.
.
Ideas to guide you:
What led your character into Mirkwood?
Do they meet anyone? Who?
Can your character find their way out?
How do they find their way out?
.
.
.
