Alvouse and Torone - colour pencils

I haven't used colour pencils in so long, at least for a whole year. I mean, you can see I fail at it very badly, although I was never into it so much to begin with (water colour master race), so I have never really learned how to use them properly.

I also fail at taking a photo of this. The paper is too big to fit into the scanner, so I have to use the best I have, which is my phone.

In any case, we see Alvouse, one of my OCs (the one with the Silt Strider whom I have drawn before -> http://aminoapps.vertvonline.info/p/m7cdee), she is his wife. They are parents of Stholec and Azarys, and I plan on developing them more. Well, I already am developing Alvouse, although Torone would be equally cool as a character. I just really don't want to end up making too many characters that aren't good and developed enough, so I am trying to chill down with OC making.

Starry you can rub your finger and it will blend the colors better for shading when with pencil or charcoal

Ye, I know, I also have a thing that's specifically used for blending colour pencils. Buuuut that's as much as I could blend it, I press the paper too much with them.
