                     hello, and welcome to my

                     blog! this is my entry for

                     the #atwc. since the boo-

                     ks don't include many feat-

                     ures of illéa, i decided to

                     choose people instead. peo-

                     ple who have grabbed my

                     heart and made me want to

                     visit their beloved country.

ㅤ                   first of all, what is illéa?

                     it's actually a fictional cou-

                     ntry and the setting of the

                     book series called the sele-

                     ction. it is essentially loc-

                     ated in north   america in

                     the future. the country is

                     divided into 35   provinces.

                     since not all of you are int-

                     erested in this, so i'll skip

                     all the minor details. as for

                     those who want more info,

i   chose america   singer

(protagonist of the first

3 books) for my first edi-

t. ever since the beginni-

ng of the selection, she's

been a rebel. her status

was a five, one of the lo-

wer   ones.   despite   her

position, america was ch-

osen by maxon to become

his wife and the new qu-

een of illéa. america is

the reason why the caste

system   was   eliminated.

also, let's not forget that

along   with   maxon, the

two changed the law on

females not being able to

inherit the throne. again,

that's important. siGh, if

i went to illéa, on the top

of my to-do list it to me-

might be a bit difficult

considering how she's a

royal                    cOuGh.

next up is eadlyn schrea-

ve, protagonist of books

4 and 5. i don't think i

have to explain much. she

is the first female ruler

of illéa. she's strong. pft.

idk why that's so funny

right now. anyway, i like

her character developme-

nt. she actually becomes

a human yay. aaand her

final decision for the sel-

ection was surprising, for

me at least. she's a great

person, and if i had a cha-

to talk to her, that would

be splendid. i adore her

speaking   style so much.
