Species Name:

Klyntaraie Belluinaie

Translation

Bestial Symbiote

Status

Species Survival Condition

Threatened - Uncommon

Populatory Estimate

Unknown

Threat Level

Singular - Moderate

Multiple - High

Origin

Organic - Extra Terrestrial

Basic Information

Symbiotic, parasitic, life form. Liquid to gaseous forms, with the ability to bond with mammals, such as humans, wolves, or lions. Rarely bonds with human beings, prefering to bond with animals. Upon bonding, Bestial Symbiotes adapt to the appearance of the hosts, covering the host's body and shapeshifting to match or add to it. If bonded with a ram, for example, the symbiote may lengthen the horns and increase the ram's size.

More often than not, the symbiote will alter it's host's fur or hair color, a black horse may become a gray horse. In addition to this, a change in eye color and shape will take place, most often white, followed by root like markings stemming from the bottom of the eyes. These markings are never the same color as the rest of the symbiote, so rather than gray, the roots might be purple.

Abilities

Bonding and Amplifying

Unlike other Klyntari, these symbiotes are highly adaptive, being able to form a near perfect bond with it's host. The symbiote will procede to amplify the host's abilities significantly as well as maintain the host's immune and regenerative systems.

Ageing

While bonded, the symbiote prevents the host from ageing almost completely, prolonging the original life span.

Reproduction

Bestial Symbiotes reproduce through their hosts. Once a male host has mated with a female of it's own species, the symbiote will send a peice of itself to the female's womb. This piece will develop and become it's own symbiote, bonding with the infant upon it's birth.

Awareness

The symbiote will alert the host of everything around it, no matter what it is. This allows the host to react far faster than it would without the symbiote.

Camouflage

Whenever it's host needs to conceal itself, the symbiote will camouflage it's host, hiding it completely. It can also hide it's host thermally, adjusting the body temperature of the host to the temperature around them.

Diet and Habitat

Always depends on host. Bestial Symbiotes don't require to feed on phenethylamine to survive, but can live just fine off of oxygen, nitrogen, as well as most toxins.

Behavior

With Carnivorous Host

History

Recently discovered, unknown history, arriving on Earth via some sort of transportation. Due to rare encouters with humanity, even a brief history is to be determined.
