Muse A and Muse B had been friends since high school. After they graduated, they somehow ended up working at the same corporation.
Muse A had feelings for Muse B for quite some time and unintentionally made it obvious.
Muse B was the opposite of Muse A, always sort of emotionally unavailable and closed off. This always hurt Muse A’s feelings because Muse B made it seem like he didn’t like her.
What Muse A didn’t know, was that Muse B was so reserved for a reason. He actually had feelings for her but didn’t wanna ruin the friendship they had. He felt as though he was not good enough for her, therefore he tried making her believe he was indifferent towards her.
One night, after being invited to an office party, Muse A seemed to have had too much to drink. Clearly unable to get herself home, Muse B offered to take her himself. Once they reached her apartment, muse A begins sharing more than she would like with Muse B. This complicates his feelings even more, but at least she wouldn’t it the next morning.
