Claire is a police captain of the interdimensional police force (IDPF) in the Magic&Science Division. She searches out dangerous magic and science-related artifacts and either destroys or compensates them. She works alongside Kelly.

She resides in a dimension called Io.

Claire is a blue-veined human. A genetically altered human with magic capabilities. Any magic She uses, though, causes the blue blood to travel closer to her heart acting as a slow progressing poison, slowly killing her. The more magic she uses, the closer she gets to death. It was a curse placed on her race of humans by a benevolent God known only as The Jester.

During a particular mission, retrieving an artifact from one of the Jester's temples referred to as "The Tower", she meets Star and Tom. Tom and her become close partners and vow to take down the Jester.

Unfortunately when they go to face the Jester, Claire uses all of her magic to destroy it, and dies.

Thanks to her kitsune blood, she is revived, losing her blue blood. The kitsune Genes take over and she gains a single fox tail. (Each tail signifies a regeneration, up to 9 tails).

At this point, she and Tom are in a committed relationship with him eventually marrying her and making her queen of the underworld.
