This opinion was proposed by Apathetic
This is pretty much the main argument I see used by non starco shippers, and while a big lot of them just say it without knowing wtf they're talking about, this argument does have some valid points behind it.
So one, booth buddies, that kiss was pretty much forced upon Star and Marco as Marco thought it'd be the only way for him to get out of the booth, and the 2nd starco kiss seemed so shoved into the episode, and one reactor to that episode said "they're trying so hard to not make Star and Marco have a brother/sister type relationship, and I can somewhat see where he's coming from in that.
But there are also some aspects of starco that seem pretty natural, one of those being the fact that it wasn't rushed for the most part and built up slowly for the whole series, another being that Star and Marco are best friends, another being the way marco just naturally said he loves Star while in the magic dimension, sure the part about it happening in the magic dimension may have been a tad bit forced, but it at least makes sense and it happened naturally.
Another part about how it wasn't forced was that the feelings still stayed after the blood moon curse was broken.
So to me, some aspects of it are definitely forced, but most of it wasn't forced at all in my opinion, and the only times I can say with confidence that it seemed forced was on specific scenes, while the times I can say it wasn't forced was on the essence and overall.
presentation (is that the right word for this type of topic?) of the ship as a whole, so for that reason I'm going to say I disagree with this.
