:heart: STARuniverse Application :heart:

Hey guys, Starry here, and this is just my entry for Marine's #STARuniverse club. Anyway, let's get right into it. ^_^

Why do you want to ?

I want to because I've never been in a club before. I've tried out and I got no luck. Also, I'm a big fan of both shows. I actually found Star vs the Forces of Evil from Steven Universe, and if you're a fan of one show, you're usually a fan of the other. So, there's that. ^_^ Also I would love to do crossover art for it. I was thinking about doing that anyway :3

Why do you like SVTFOE and SU?

I like them because they are the best modern cartoons on TV right now. They are afraid to add a deep and immersive story, rather than mindless slapstick humor. That's what I like about both of these shows, and the writers did a fantastic job.

How did you find SVTFOE and SU?

I found Steven Universe from a friend back in 2015. After seeing the episode Cat Fingers, I binged watched the rest of the series over the summer. Then, my friends were posting Star memes in a group chat, and I asked what show it was. They told me it was SVTFOE and that I would really like it. So, I gave it a watch and wasn't really into it. But then I slowly started to become obsessed, especially because one of the YouTube channels I watch, The Roundtable, talks about both shows. And the rest is history. That's how I became a big fan of both of these shows. :)

When did you start watching?

I started watching Steven Universe in the summer of 2015, and SVTFOE in January 2017.

What do you like about SVTFOE?

I like how it tries to not be cliche. The writing is really unique and immersive. Also, the love triangle subplot is really interesting and it is one of my favorite aspects due to how relatable it is to be in Star's position.

What do you like about SU?

Again, I like the unique story, the emotional storytelling, and the gems of course. It took a unique concept and turned it into an amazing show.
