[Spoilers]Unpopular opinion #45: star did nothing wrong in lake house fever/ransomgram

For this one, im going to copy-paste something that Chloz said in response to a comment i made oh her profile, because she explained it far better than i could.

I severely dislike Star after Lake House Fever. This isn’t because of shipping, it’s because of her character. So, she was being thirsty over Marco in all of the other episodes. Blushing, flirting, “Omg Marco you are like soooo hot right now.” All when she is knowingly in a relationship.

She just cheated, so she obviously has not learned her lesson. She’s just hopping from boy to boy. Oh and I absolutely despised Lake House Fever. It is the absolute worst episode in the series in my opinion (not because shipping). It could have been a meaningful and genuine conversation between Tom and Star about the kiss, and an opportunity for Star to be honest and fix her mistake.

Note: I dont agree with Chloz about Lake House Fever being the worst episode ever, because though star messed up big time, and though the episode could have been much better, i still enjoyed that episode.

No. After thotting around, Star not only takes ZERO responsibility for the kiss. Not only that, it gets even better, she tries to BLAME Tom for her not telling him about the kiss. She takes NO responsibility. She doesn’t feel guilty remorse or even apologizes ONCE. It actually makes me sick. How DARE she. Than there’s no consequences for her actions. I do not like her one bit at the moment.

If it wasnt already obvious, i completely disagree with the title, star did so much wrong in those two episodes, and to be honest, i didnt think about it at all until Chloz explained it

I really hope that in a future episode star actually womans up and takes responsibility for her actions, because something like this is an awful message for the kids watching

I was finally warming up to starco, i was even to the point where i didnt ship it, but wouldnt mind if it became cannon, but the new episodes made me hate the idea of starco becoming cannon again, because at this point, starco becoming cannon would be an absolutely horrible message towards the kids watching the show, bc of how star was just bouncing from tom to marco back to tom all over again, you cant just play with peoples hearts like that, absolutely ridiculous.
