Memeing

Info: The title is pretty self-explanatory. Janna teaches Star how to meme and Jackie is totally against it.

Star, Janna and Jackie were having a pajama party over at Janna's. After trying to summon demons and ing spirits using an ouija board, the three teenagers got bored and decided to scroll through their social medias until they were grew tired and went to sleep. Well, that until Janna just had to bring up memes.

"Hey, Star," Janna spoke up.

The princess looked up from the screen of her phone and smiled at her friend. "What is it?"

"Fancy yourself a meme?"

Star tilted her head. She had no idea what a 'meme' could possibly be–something funny, most probably. Curiosity got the most of her, and she scooted closer to Janna. "I don't know what that is, but it sounds interesting."

"No way–you don't know what a meme is?!"

"Nope!"

Jackie looked up. "Janna, do not," she warned the blunette with a disgusted expression on her face.

Janna glared at the short-haired blonde. What was wrong with her? Janna thought everyone liked memes. Oh well. She slung an arm around Star's shoulder and showed the girl the meme she was talking about.

Upon seeing the picture, the magical princess snorted, and soon enough, her snorting and giggles transformed into an extremely contagious laughter which made Janna her.

"Same," said Star between her giggles.

The other girl in the room could only watch her friends in disgust.

As the two finally stopped laughing, Janna wiped a tear from her eye and looked up at Jackie, who still looked like she was silently judging her and Star. She smirked and crawled closer to her. "What's wrong, Jackie?"

"I just think memes are awful," Jackie itted.

"What–oh my God. You did not just say that. Why?!"

"Because they're dumb. They're like cartoons, but made by sad people that can't draw. I find it depressing."

"You're depressing," Janna shot back. "Memes are funny. Whenever I feel sad I scroll through my meme reserve to brighten up."

The blonde rolled her eyes. "Still depressing."

"Whatever! At least Star thinks they're funny." She turned her head back to her other friend. "Right Star?"

The princesd smiled. "Yeah! I wanna learn more about these memes!"

Janna's eyes lightened up. "You just chose the best person to teach you! Now listen...you can even meme yourself!" She cleared her throat, hoping to catch Jackie's attention. "Like, without having to edit pictures and post them on the internet."

"Woah. Tell me more."

"No no no no no–Janna, don't do this. I beg you not to do it."

"Do what?" Janna smirked at Jackie, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Don't teach her how to meme. She's innocent. Please–"

"Woah!" Star got in-between them. "I want to know what these things are!"

"See, Jackie? She's aware of what she's getting herself into. She's a big girl. Let her decide." Janna earned herself a glare from Jackie. The blunette smirked. "Okay! C'mere, Star. This meme I'm showing you right now is called dabbing–"

"Oh no."

"As I said, dabbing. You just put your hands like…this…and bam! You're memeing! Simple!"

"You mean…" Star began to lift her arms up.

"Star, please. For the love of God–do not do it–" Before Jackie could end her sentence, Star had her arms up the way Janna showed her.

"…like this?"

"Okay, I'm out," Jackie held up her hands in defeat and walked out of the room and into the bathroom to wash her face.

Janna watched Jackie as she exited the room. "She'll get over it," she said before turning back to Star. "That was perfect!", she congratulated her friend.

"Thank you, thank you," the princess bowed a couple of times, smiling. This memeing...was fun! She couldn't wait showing Marco and Ponyhead what she learned! "Are there more?", she asked with sparkles in her eyes.

Janna grinned mischievously and rubbed her palms together. "Oh...you have no idea, Starship..."

It was only the beginning.
