I have many books. I usually take care of my books and read them well. But I have one book I regret buying. It was 13 bucks and I was bored. Even tho I used my own money to buy it I still didn’t take care of it. The cover of the book has white creasing marks I made while reading. Some print paint is falling off the cover. If I could, I’d burn this book just like how the main character burned her face. In the beginning, I annotated the book but didn't highlight anything (there was nothing worth highlighting) just added sticky notes and wrote on the book in pencil.

I hate this book.

Not because of the author, although that’s a good reason to hate it. It’s a horrible read, and the book just sucks in general. it’s also my cousin's “favorite” book. She likes the author a lot. She read like two of her books so far? Anyway, I was going to give it to her. I believe every book should be given not thrown in the landfills or distorted. But this book can honestly get shit and peed on by rats. Eaten by termites, before I give it to her. I hate this book as much as I hate my cousin but just like my cousin, I still have it. I can’t get rid of my cousin because we are family. Family stay together. No matter what happens family always comes first. This book is only

with me temporarily.

It’ll be my farewell gift before she leaves. She’s moving. She’s starting up her own family. Which means we are no longer family anymore. I’ll write a message on the back cover. I’ll tell her we’ll miss her. I’ll tell her to be careful. To soon forget about her. I wish her the best. I don’t just hate her for no reason. If you saw what she says and does, you’ll call her a bitch too.
