Hullo Hullo!

For today's blog I wanted to share these artworks I drew last year. The art was for a collab with a lovely SGA member and she hasn't been that active since then and I never got to share my art. So I guess I'll just share my art with all of you since art demands to be seen.

Also, this will be my last SGA art post. I'm just at that point where I've decided that I've drawn a lot of Ghibli art(30 Day Drawing challenge and SGA drawing challenges)and that it's time for other artists to show their art in this wonderful community. I mean that’s always been the case but I feel like I’ve given my fair share of Ghibli art and I wanna focus on drawing other things outside of SGA. I will still be active though! Don't fret! :sweat_smile: I'm just not gonna post any art stuff anymore. I've been focusing on different artworks lately and yeah.

Anywho! Let's get started with my artworks...

The concept for this was that I was supposed to make a few "ugly" or "not good looking" characters into beautiful ones. I don't really agree that these characters aren't good looking. The characters are from the movie "The Cat Returns" and we decided that we'd just make Muta look like a cute human AND to make Naoko(Haru's mom) look younger looking. A teenager basically.

So without further ado, here they are...

I don’t really know why I gave him a coat, I just did :joy: And I gave him a headband with cat ears OvO He has cake too because he’s hungry and WHY NOT :joy: He really looks sweet in my version :sweat_smile: And yeah well that was the point of it, I guess? :sweat_smile: I don’t really know :sweat_smile: There isn’t much of a story behind it. It is what it is.

I loved drawing her outfit! Especially the plaid skirt which was referenced from her plaid handkerchief in the movie. I think I achieved that goal where she looks younger because she definitely does.

BY THE WAY, I drew these like almost over a year ago and my art in general has improved so don’t mind the awkward hands and weird faces and all ;-; :sweat_smile:

Well, that’s it for this blog and this is also my last art post! So thank you all for being so ive of my Ghibli artworks! This community was where I developed my art style and I will forever be grateful.

I luuuuuuuuuve muta 🧡

He is so adorable with those tinny cat ears on his head 🧡

And the cake is definitely the finishing touch, he has always hungry, and the jacket.. waw it must be magic :yum: it makes him soooo skinny!

I wish I could eat cake like a fat cat all day long and have a flat tummy 🤣🧡
