i’m fairly new here, only because i just stumbled upon this cozy little corner of the internet. but i already feel like i belong. i have plenty of free time during the day, and i can share my work schedule if that helps with coordination. i’m eager to contribute and grow with this community, gently and wholeheartedly.
:tea: position applying for & why
blogger — because who else is going to write soul-drenched entries about soft skies and moth-wing mornings?
i’m the rainy day girl. the one who finds poetry in the hush of steam rising from a teacup and who believes the wind in the grass is trying to tell us stories. studio ghibli isn’t just animation to me — it’s a language. one i speak in metaphors and memory.
i want to write posts that feel like holding hands with howl, like i just stepped out of arrietty’s garden, like the ocean whispered something only i could hear — and now i’m writing it down before the tide forgets.
people need softness. maybe my words can be that softness. moss-lined. wildflower-bloomed. a little magical. a little melancholic. completely human.
:blossom: great qualities
– i romanticize everything, but like… in a curated, intentional way. i can turn a leaf falling into a full-blown narrative arc.
– i’m naturally observant — i notice the small things, the things ghibli highlights. the clink of a spoon, the way light filters through curtains.
– emotionally intuitive. i know how to write things that feel like something. cozy, wistful, brave, broken — whatever it is, i’ll make you feel it.
– aesthetic-obsessed in the best way. fonts, layouts, moodboards? i will build a visual story that makes people ache in a good way.
– my tone is dreamy but grounded, soft but unafraid to go deep. very ghibli-coded. very me.
– i’m consistent when it counts. deadlines? done. inspiration? i dig it out of sea glass and memory.
– and above all: i care. about storytelling, about gentleness, about the worlds we build when we believe in quiet magic.
:book: experience
– i’ve been writing in dreamy, ghibli-esque tones for years — from poems to posts to character bios. crafting emotion into words is second nature to me.
– i’ve built aesthetics from scratch: names, visuals, captions, full-on moods. i know how to keep a vibe alive and make it feel personal.
– i’ve run pages and blogs before — ones where tone and aesthetic were everything. keeping people engaged through consistent storytelling is something i love doing.
– i roleplay and write characters that feel like ghibli people — soft chaos, deep roots, quiet bravery. i live in that space between fantasy and feeling.
– i’ve been on platforms like amino, tumblr, and pinterest, where worldbuilding, blogging, and aesthetic posting were daily rituals.
– i’ve also worked on personal growth through writing — turning internal reflections into poetic pieces, something very ghibli in nature.
– plus, let’s be real: no one can describe tea steam, moonlight, or heartbreak like i can. i bring emotion to the forefront, and i know how to make it linger.
🕯 i write like the world is still worth falling in love with. and i think that counts for something.
