Ghibli Gladiator application!!! :cherry_blossom: :leaves: :maple_leaf:

Hello my little kodama and welcome to my ghibli gladiator application ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

im not exactly sure how to give an intro to this so lets just jump right into it ^^

~Name:

Well my friends call me Ryu, and its a short, and easy to name so thats what i like to be called most of the time!

~Age:

Im 13 years old! Yes i may be small and young but that gives me bundles of energy and determination to start new projects! It also means i have lots of time to learn new skills and improve the ones i already have ÒvÓ

~TimeZone:

GMT+1

Thats right i live in the good old rainy uk - although its not really that rainy at the moment >v< 🌧🌧🌧

~Activity:

I am an active member to this community and try to spend as much time as possible here!!! Generally ill be online throughout the day but when school starts permenantly ill be more active in the afternoon ^^ I also have a long standing check-in streak (woohoo) although my wifi can be relatively inconsistent so sometimes i miss a day :sweat_smile:

~What position are you applying for and why:

Aw nooo the easy part is over haha XD well... here i goooo

I would like to apply for the artist position because i love art in general, am always happy to learn new skills, and i think art is one on my strongest skills. I also love analysing the art in ghibli movies!

Although nearly all my posts are art based, i think becoming a gladiator would mean i could spend long amounts of time preparing more detailed and well produced art pieces while still posting at my regular pace and quality.

I also think i could incorporate my other pations to the art ie: make a poem to go with the piece, analyse what makes my piece similar or different to the ghibli art, try out new mediums, or add art to photography.

I dont really know what else to say about it but i think if i got the opportunity to become a gladiator, i would be able to exceed standards and expectations for what to bring foward

Good qualities i have:

I always try to stay cheerful and positive around everyone to spread some light around even if im having a bad day,

Im kind to as many people as i can and also care about how they are doing and feeling

i go out of my way to help others when they need help

I stand up for my friends which can unleash my inner Ryu (dragon) bringing out my comionate, determined, and stubborn side >:D

I invest alot of time for my pattions- ie art, photography etc

i love to try new things - especially art mediums and styles

Im a complete goof-ball and will always bring a little humour to the conversation

Oh boy... hopefully i didnt sound vain eek! I got some help from other people if that makes it any better :sweat_smile:

Experience:

Do i have experience in art? Well i have an adequate amount! My grandma and my dads friend are both very interested in art - one is an art historian, and one is a freelance artist. They have both shared some tips and tricks with me which is awesome!

I have been drawing since i could hold a pencil so have also learnt my own lessons about art and colour theory.

I am taking art at school as well so will gain some decent skills at school.
