For the purpose of this post, and also because I feel like that is one of the Ghibli films that goes unnoticed a little bit, I will say it is my favorite right now :sparkles:

(Really they’re all my favorite in different ways, some more than others ofc)

For me, the story was relatable, I could see how she felt misunderstood and left out. Watching her work through the things that she was holding on to was a really beautiful story, and the fantasy aspect of having Marnie there to help her and give her the love she deserved was so beautiful!
