The Steven Universe ongoing comic series has 8 issues out as of this writing. Many comic readers who somehow have infinite patience prefer to NOT collect the individual issues and instead pick up the compilation paperbacks when they come out.
Volume One of the ongoing comic, entitled "Warp Tour," contains issues one through four and features the cover art of issue #1. It will be released on October 24, 2017.
Volume Two of the ongoing comic, entitled "Punching Up," contains issues five through eight and features the cover art of issue #4. It will be released on April 3, 2018.
These are NOT to be confused with the trade paperbacks for the original series of 8, the Big Donut special, the Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems trade paper, or the original graphic novels Too Cool for School and Anti-Gravity.
Cover galleries are common in collections like these so maybe we can look forward to seeing those, or maybe even bonus comic shorts like in the first trade papers!
I have preordered both books even though I own the individual issues. Being a completist is expensive sometimes! :smiley:
