About Hematite

The Species

.

Hematite is a gemstone that is meant to clear you of any qualities that are holding you back, with a 'divine dose of courage, strength, and willpower'.

Therefore, I decided that Hematite's power is the ability to tweak a gem's 'coding' while it's still unpoofed, although he is able to change more after they are poofed. His gem type works really well with rejuvinators, as it's easier to add things to a blank slate than to change or replace things, as that will lend to a lapse in continuity, which could then lead to the gem reverting to it's pre-edited state.

Alternatively, Hematites can also be used for forms of therapy, changing a gem's mood and helping relieve some of the stress that's on them. Their ability to do small things while a gem is unpoofed also helps, as afterwards a gem can continue about their day without worrying about being endangered in a defenseless state or having to take the time to reform while they could be doing something else. Both of these uses lends to them belonging to higher ranking gems.

The Character

Hematite 5B2K-6XA is kind and believes in everything he is ordered to do. He is a perfect cut. Much like a pearl, he can be privy to blind trust and devotion to his master, always willing to do the dirty work to please, even if it's not for his intended purpose. He is caring in almost a fatherly way, but can get flirty sometimes and catch other gems off-guard.
