I got the Steven Universe officially licensed costume from Spirit Halloween.

They also made a Garnet costume that I got a long time ago. They don't have kits for the other characters.

Let's take a look at what's included!

Great! A shirt, a wig, and a Gem. Bring your own pants and flip-flops.
Here is the shirt:

I gotta say, color-wise, this is the most accurate Steven shirt I've ever seen! Lots of people think his shirt is red, but it's officially pink, and not a typical pink. Comparing with the other shirts I've gotten over the years for various Stevonnie attempts:

All the others are more red, hot pink, and carnation. The Spirit shirt is more salmon--the best so far!

Good on you, Spirit Halloween!
Now let's look at the Gem.

The facets are a little strange here--around the edges you definitely don't have a clear pentagonal arrangement, and the front is not a pentagonal facet.
But at certain angles, you can see that there's something in the back that makes the effect look accurate.

The back is flat and sparkly, with a film you can pull off to expose the adhesive.

This is decent in a pinch, but I feel like the color is kinda pale compared to what we usually see and I would prefer to use my fan-made resin Gem instead--even though it's heavier and requires spirit gum. Compare also to an officially released gem with a questionable design that only looks like Steven's pentagonal pattern from some angles.

Now the wig!

Generally, wigs from costume kits aren't that well made and expect to get used once or so. This wig is rather thin and not voluminous, but it seems like it'd be more natural rather than looking like a synthetic clown wig. It is also dark brown, not black--accurate to Steven's design.

How's it look on a head?

Putting it together:

Not too bad!
If I "really" did a full-on Steven cosplay I'd darken my eyebrows for it.
Let me give you a complete costume shoot with pants and flip-flops! And some Steveny props! Enjoy!

Sure is a better option than my previous standby...

:smirk: :smirk: :smirk: :smirk:
Hope you liked my silliness! Looking forward to using this costume in my next music video!

Can we just turn that last image into a meme
Hahaa. I have posted a few more pics with it over the years.
