Today, I’ve made some Shard Salamander sketch adopts! Shard Salamanders are small, parasitic lizards which typically prey upon gems, burrowing into the core of the gemstone in order to better survive the cruel world. Depending on which gem shards they eat, their colors will change. Some will even gain new abilities or characteristics if they eat one particular type of gem for long enough. They’re typically very family-oriented, and infest the planet known as the Marwolaeth Shard. They’re capable of speech, but it’s very limited. An example of how they’d speak if “Self loves other selves! Self no scare selves. Self care. Self love. Will die for selves and selves-to-be.” or, “SCARE! SELF IS SCARE!
