Moon / Phantom Quartz Entry

This is my entry for Phantom Quartz on the Quartz Gemling Adopt

So I have multiple things to earn this gem, and to start I have a 3d model of her. I designed it in Blocks by Google.

Piece #1

For this entry, I tried to make it look as much like the character as possible. Due to the very small variety of colors, however, that was slightly difficult. If you look closely, the eye does have a pupil, and the hair is a different color than the skin. I know the hair is reversed, and I did that accidentally by flipping the model and not realising, and then not being to reverse the flip naturally. I also completely missed her tooth somehow, and so i'm inclined to say that this is Toddler Moon haha.

The next entry is a reading age. I wanted to tell the story of Moon's Parents, and how she was born, and what happened after that.

Piece #2

"The coast is clear." Phantom says. She winks at Cloud. Phantom is an off color, an extra dark Amethyst that sprouted from homeworld's dirt. Cloud was also from homeworld, but she was a different kind of Quartz, a Clear Quartz, considered the second highest class of gem, right under Diamond. Her nickname, 'Cloud,' was one given to her by Phantom when they first met. She had mumbled it under her breath as an insult, but as they grew closer together it became Clear's pet name.

"Did you hear me, Cloud?" Phantom asked. "I said the coast is clear." Cloud nodded, trying to walk. "Come on, just a little longer. We have to get back to the off colors. They can take care of-" she was cut off by Cloud's scream of anguish

"Aughh!" Cloud screamed. "I-I can't!" she collapsed, her form spiking all over. "It's happening!" she began to get dizzy. Her eyes got heavier and heavier. She was ready to go. To become her daughter. "Take her to the off colors." Cloud told Phantom. "You can do this." she said again. "Augh!!" she began to take form again as a smaller gem, a mirror image of what Cloud and Phantom's fusion looked like. Cloud slipped into her new form with the final words "I love you, Phantom."

"I love you too, Cloud." Phantom said, with tears on her cheeks." she paused, as her new baby took form. "Let's go, Phantom Quartz." she began her sprint to the off colors' hideout. "I'm going to keep you nice and safe. We're going to be al-" she was cut off by multiple Rose Quartz soldiers that were attracted by Cloud's screaming.

"Amethyst! We have you now!" a few said in unison. Phantom shook her head. She turned to run in the opposite direction, but was cut off by more Rose Quartz soldiers. "And who have you beought us?" a few different ones said in unison.

"I haven't brought you anything!" Phantom yelled, pulling out her Boomerang. She threw it, but much to her dismay, a soldier grabbed and smashed it. The soldiers all began to cave in on the two gems. "No! No!" Phantom yelled, trying to keep a grip on Phantom Quartz, but eventually the guards had seperated the two, and Phantom was on course to be shattered, but Phantom Quartz, soon to be dubbed as a Moonstone, for she was a new gem, unseen by homeworld, and was misidentified, given the nickname "Moon," was being put into a cell for study, wearing her own unique costume, as well as an ocean blue jacket far too big for her that her mother always wore.

Through years, Moon was treated as a subject, not a sentient gem. She had many Peridots in and out of her cell, studying her. Moon always refused to talk in the company of other gems, and they believed she was mute, but unknownst to them, she spoke often to herself aloud. She always cradled the blue sweater, until the zipper magically broke somehow. Moon freaked out at this, enough for her to summon a sonic shreik, which snapped open her gem tech cell. She escaped, and followed her memories to the off colors, who had retreated to another location, leaving her all alone in the craters of homeworld, searching for the few people that could protect her. Her father, and the off colors

(So, this is going to become part of a novelistic universe if I win, so I'm tagging this as the first work in #PreGrowkaNovelisticUniverse)

I drew an art piece of Moon holding her jacket. It was a sketch originaly, and I digitalized it.
