Another toy review from me! This time I'm doing Amethyst in Steven's Kitchen--a builder set from McFarlane Toys.
Amethyst in Steven's Kitchen

Looking at the finished product:

Pros:
This has SO many cute accessories. I mean, you not only have the big fat Together Breakfast on the counter, but there's a bottle of Whip It Up that you put a sticker on for branding!
The fridge is full of cardboard insert food and a bagel sandwich and a freezer of Cookie Cats. There's even a transparent block to represent the crisper drawers.

The accuracy is tremendous! The dish rack, the cabinet designs, the sticker to make the fridge look like Steven's fridge. The microwave! The range! The paper towels! The lil oven with a dishtowel on the handle! Argh.
The fridge being openable is so inventive!
Amethyst looks cute, holds the whip easily, looks to scale. Holding her whip in the kitchen feels a bit out of place, but there is a Together Breakfast there so you never know....

Cons:
The cabinets and counters were easy to assemble but I had some trouble with the back wall of the kitchen and some of the fridge. The hinges required a LOT of pressure to go together, on a small item. Tough if you're easily frustrated.
The sink's faucet didn't wanna stay on, and I actually think it's peculiar that they didn't include a sink attachment to finish the unfinished-looking hole in the counter. If you're gonna fill a fridge with cardboard food, why not this fairly major detail? The cabinets don't open (I kinda wanted to see Chaaaaps and Onion hiding in one). And I had leftover extra pieces.
More reviews to come!

I have the set but I get frustrated when I put together because of all those little pieces that keep going everywhere especially the little faucet that you have to put in when you put the microwave over it and it's hard for me when I do that
Yeah! How the heck are we supposed to get that in??

I have no idea!
I have this set, too!
That's great! I had to get them all!
Your so delicate when doing this, I just put everything in one pile and then my dog steps on it and his hair gets all over it.
I have no pets and no kids.
There is hair on the floor, but that's just me shedding.
I had the same problems, but my fridge was missing some pieces, so it has some holes on the bottom. And the sink! Man, I hurt my fingers so bad trying to get it to stay, it was frustrating

Yep! I have every SU toy. Most of them are just figs so it is cool to have something to put together!

Man, thats awesome! I don't have much, but I'm aiming for all of the McFarlane sets, I still need 3 more. After I reach that, I wanna get all the pop figures, but thats probably going to take awhile.

Oh ya! I love the Pops, though I am actually not that happy with the way they design some toys. Many could be way cuter, and the fact that some ARE really cute makes me sad for lost opportunity.
