Hello and welcome to the Locust Adopt Team where we will be doing monthly adopts. Our first theme for this week was bugs.

Egyptian Aquamarine is a gem that resembles a beetle. They’re Adventurous,Easy-going,and last of all, Radiating in positivity. Their favorite thing is exploring...EVERYWHERE. The only thing that comes close is collecting treasure, as they’re addicted to shiny things. Aquamarine can’t seem to fight but is excellent at fleeing. When push comes to shove, they’ll roll into a ball down hills to get away from danger and when that doesn’t work they’ll fly with their tiny wings towards safety.

Byzantine charoite is a gem that resembles a butterfly and can shift through forms at will. She's quiet, mysterious, and creepy but can be quite nice when you get to know her. Even if she doesn't have a mouth she can convey emotions like everyone else. Seeing such a petite thing you would think she couldn't fight but your wrong! Watch out when she's upset. Even though she's mostly a healer and a ifist she can summon a spear that can Peirce even the toughest of armor

Honeycomb spinel is a gem based on bees. She has a bright and bubbly personality that makes her a sweetheart. She has manipulation over honey as a power. She is typically happy but during the winter she gets incredibly sad because she can’t see the beautiful nature.

Vespid Agate is a fierce agate that is themed after a wasp. She is a very strict gem who follows rules. She gets very angry when things are out of place. Her powers include shapeshifting like other gems and poison that is in her whip that is in her gem. Her poison is deadly and poofs any gem instantly. She does have a softer side for gems that don’t make her mad.

Amber’s a fun loving gem who can manipulate light. She always wants to make sure her friends are having a good time and will cheer them up when they’re sad. She’s obsessed with organic life and thinks all creatures, whether they’re big or small, are precious and worth caring for. Her gem placement is up to the owner.

This Ruby is a little skinnier than average and about a half foot shorter than a normal Ruby, but she tries hard to make up for it with her hard-working nature and her willingness to take on any challenge in front of her. She’s pretty curious about the world around her, but she tries not to get too distracted with her surroundings.

Apatite is cracked, they were formed incorrectly and were cracked from the start. They grew very scared of their fellow gems and ran away into a cave at her kindergarten. She’s based on worms!

Ruby is a fun loving gem! Their weapon is a dagger, however they don’t like to use it and instead carry an umbrella everywhere they go, if you ask what their weapon is they say it’s the umbrella! They are based on lady bugs
