I'm not a video game person at all and don't really know how to play them, so I'm kind of a mess trying to play this game, but here it is.

My friend was kind enough to lend me his PS4 so I can play. :relaxed: :relaxed:

I did play Attack the Light on mobile, but I was not very good at it. I completed it, and thought it was cute, but now that a more complex game was coming out, I was worried. I said I thought I wouldn't know how to play.
My friend reassured me and said it was weird to worry because games walk you through stuff and it's not that complicated. And I said:
But I don't speak video game.
People who play games don't understand how much knowledge they go into these games with that they think is common knowledge BUT IT IS NOT. My friend was curious why I thought that and I'm like...I guess you'll see what I mean. If you watch me try to play.
So he brought it over and got me started and it was all pretty cool.

But then I'm like uhhh
It's telling me to press a button and I pressed every button and it's still telling me to press a button

He's like "oh that big black thing is a button"
What
That is a button
Why
Also "go talk to that guy!"
I don't know how.
"Press X!"
...How am I supposed to know that that makes me talk to them?
"That's just...what you do in video games."
SEE??
SEE IT IS A LANGUAGE I DON'T SPEAK

Not everyone talks back.
The scenery is of course beautiful.

And at the beginning your party is Greg, Steven, and Connie, but you can choose who to add next.
I mean. I kind of have to pick Garnet because I'm Garnet trash so
I did and she immediately did Garnet things.

Garnet gonna Garnet.
You can pick who to apply cool badges to and do stuff to enhance characters' relationships so they can get special moves together. I think Garnet's level upon entry in the game might be a lil out of proportion to the others.

I am really interested to see Garnet's special move with Connie, with Greg, and with Steven! Fusion is available as a special move only if the characters have fused in the show (I think), and I've seen Stevonnie, but I think Greg moves are all music based so maybe Garnet will whip out an instrument. Yessss. I need this. (Don't spoil me if you know what happens!)
Since I'm not good at games and I started late too, this is where I am now. I just entered Beach City's woods.

I'm gonna guess Onion is out here somewhere. Hopefully it's not the season to see his creepy friends.
I'll share cute stuff as I continue to play.

I absolutely loved Attack The Light and I even beat its special Diamond Mode like 3 or 4 times now. I REALLY want to play Save The Light, but I don't have a PS4 or even a single version of PlayStation other than a rundown console of the original. I don't even have XBOX One, but I do have the original that somewhat works. One day, I'm going to play this game though and I'm going to make it the LAST video-game I'll ever play. I sort of gave them up because I want to focus on my writing, so that's why things are like that with me. I did see spoilers for Squaridot and Hessonite and I found them to be interesting characters. Again though, why did it have to be this way, Crewniverse?!
Heh, I'm a professional writer and I am still playing games and doing stuff on the side, but it's good to decide what matters most and prioritize that if you can! I am not a person who plays games just to have something to do with my time, so video games didn't have to get cut out to make room. I only want to play this because I love Steven Universe. :)

Who doesn't? I bet even some people who haven't even heard of Steven Universe will play it eventually.
I just love seeing Garnet do garnet things even in the game
Same, even if she doesn't have the best attacks I will want her around to do her job of being Garnet
Wait that's on ps4? How much is it?
$25
