Heya! This is yet another story I’ve written to explain some of my gems stories :)!!

This story is about Quinn!! Thank you again for letting me buy this character :))!! Anyways I was supposed to write this awhile ago however school got in the way! But now it’s summer break for me so I can do a lot more,

I don’t believe there’s any TW’s for this so just enjoy!

These characters are basically in tune with the real show, having the same four main Diamonds and later a Steven saved Era 3. But in this story it’s my interpretation of what an Era 1 colony would be like..

Prologue

It was the first planet of the Diamond Authority to be partially operated by that of a Cubic Zirconia, 9XD to be precise, but it was also the place that Gypsum recognized as their homeland. A planet covered in wearisome terrain, deep trenches spanning thousands of miles, and acid storms spewing spouts of burning rain upon the surface.

Planet Xosade, Yellow Diamond's third-largest planet as well as Gypsum’s home for the next three thousand years.

Xosade

Beginning of Era. One,

The planet's atmosphere was cool, small breezes billowed in and out of the new hollowed structures that the Sandstones and Bismuths were working on. Rock Salts scrambled around offering assistance to them, bringing in tools and erosion wands. The clanking noises of the pounding gems and sparks of the churning saws filled the dark planet as new dawn arose from behind. Their futile breaths filled the air in icy clouds of glowing white.

A golden orange glow filled the air and in a sudden moment, the cold serene atmosphere turned arid and suffocating by that of heat. A bleak uninhabited terrain spanning out on all sides was now unveiled by the sun-warmed glow. The once pitch black scene of hollowed buildings grew into a glowing glimmering shade of yellows and browns. It was here that the first colony would arise, and it was where Kindergartens Kappa and Lambda will start to take their hold on the planet…

“Hmmm..” The green gem hummed, small pings here and there sounding from their limb enhancers tapping away at their diamond screen.

“Kindergarten Lambda, facet area LG, new gems are to arise approximately 60 seconds from now.” The gem concluded now swiping away their screen and turning around suddenly.

“Wonderful work Peridot 7XV. I’m looking forward to our recruits..” The dim-colored gem praised stepping forward slowly from the shadows.

“You may go, alert the other Peridots and Dioptase of the kindergarten's needs.” They continued waving the Peridot away towards the purplish abyss of the trench.

Catching the hint the Peridot nodded quickly and hurried away mumbling something of a goodbye,” Yes, your Clarity Xenotime..”

The tall gem was the only one to remain now. Their dazzling markings highlighting the surrounding area in spurts of golden light. Their glowing eyes narrowing as they stare at the many injection sites, the gem began tapping their wrist in tune with their voice..,” 18...17..16..” and so on.

An abrupt crumbling could be heard from far above, leaving echoes amongst the hollowed area. Following it there were thousands more. Sounds from all around now one after the other of crumbling rocks, shattering stone, rumbling of the foreign bodies reaching surface.

` ` Argh! Gahh!` `

The first of many gems fell with a shout. It was starting.

The emergence.

“All is going according to plan! Kindergarten Lambda will surely supply us with many capable gems to fit our ideals.” Xenotime exclaimed clapping her hands together, her excitement showing in the suddenly warm glow she emitted.

The entirety of four whole days went by, each minute new gems sprouted and ed their colony instructors. Xenotime however continued to march through the dark trenches.

“Hmm..” The tall gem hummed to themself stepping farther up the bottoms of the trench.

“This will be the last of the Lambda batch..here.” They pointed to the far end of the trench wall, their glowing markings warming with intensity.

“For now at least.” Xenotime mumbled muffling a sudden chuckle. Xenotime then strode forward in two bounds her legs carrying her in long strides.

She drew her hand to the wall, the dry ground crumbling under her fingers. She gathered the crumbling drops and smeared them between her fingers her sly grin forming now a disdainful look. She then traced her hand alongside the injection sites. Carefully she walked with them, dragging her hand from each dent to the next a hum still awake in her throat.

Then the familiar rumbling started again. Xenotime was quite unfazed this time. The last of the batch always seemed off-color or misshapen in some way. Below average. So what would it matter to her what emerged? And so she turned away with a sudden infliction, the Peridots and Dioptase would be on their way soon enough anyhow, she began to stride away.

She had made it halfway through the trench kindergarten by now. ing the Peridots and Dioptase had seemed like forever ago now as they headed towards the emerging gems. Her steps echoed off the dirt walls, her glowing markings showing her the way in the darkness.

“XENOTIME! XENOTIME!” A gem called from behind the taller one.

With a quick sway of motion, Xenotime turned her head. Her glowing eyes burned in what was equally fury and curiosity.

“Xenotime my clarity, we have word that two Desert Roses have sprouted with the last batch! We want you to clarify!” The gem now identified as a low-level Dioptase stood slightly bowed in front of Xenotime.

And with that Xenotime strode in quick steps towards the end of the hollow kindergarten. Her long strides allowed her to glide far ahead of the Dioptase soon leaving them behind. When she arrived she saw them. The two Desert Roses. Some of the first if some of the only made on planet Xosade. And then Xenotime stared in awe, clapping her hands together. She strode forward.
