That is something i see alot of people mess up on
Also with the end ill just add the actual frames to make it easier to see

some people just make it diagonal instead of making it actually align with the cut of the gem this is what a diagonal line of shine on the gem should look like
Now mine was lazy but if you take your time and use these tips you can make it look incredibly realistic
Now this does not work perfectly if your gem is circular or has more than 6 sides but it will help in quite a few sircumstances
