This is a little song I wrote for the #lyriccontest
I hope you all enjoy.
Cobalt was a leader in the rebellion. Since she has healing powers, which she rarely uses, because it drains her energy, were given to her by Rose to help save her soldiers. Cobalt lives with the guilt that she can't live up to Rose's standards; she can't save them all...
How could you ever
Love someone like me
A warrior, a fighter,
What I was born to be
For Miles and miles I'll wander,
On the open sea,
While I am tossed and turned,
The waves carrying me.
{Chorus}
Hard like a diamond,
Sharp like a knife,
Why must I be the one,
With this hard life?
The pain seems to follow,
Wherever I go,
Nobody to care for,
Or no one to know
Hard like a diamond,
Sharp like a knife,
Why must I be the one,
With this hard life?
I've only got me,
Myself and I,
I'm adrift at sea,
All alone I cry
I've got to pack up and go,
For I can't stay here anymore,
It's now my time to be heading home,
I say as I close life's door.
{Chorus}
Hard like a diamond,
Sharp like a knife,
Why must I be the one,
With this hard life?
The pain seems to follow,
Wherever I go,
No one to care for,
No one to know.
Hard like a diamond,
Sharp like a knife,
Why must I be the one,
With this hard life?
A wandering spirit,
To and fro,
Never to find home,
Never to go,
I'll forever be alone,
Once I find,
My many broken pieces,
And when they're all aligned.
{Chorus}
Hard like a Diamond,
Sharp like a knife,
Why must it be me,
With this hard life...
The pain seems to follow,
Wherever I go,
No one to care for,
No one to know.
Hard like a diamond,
Sharp like a knife,
Why must I be the one,
With this hard life?
As reflective as water,
As clear as glass,
I know that all this,
Will eventually
But in this time,
It seems to last,
Never to leave,
It'll stay in my past
{Chorus}
Hard like a diamond,
Sharp like a knife,
Why must I be the one,
With this hard life?
The pain seems to follow,
Wherever I go,
No one to care for,
No one to know.
Hard like a diamond,
Sharp like a knife,
Why must it be me,
With this hard life...
Where will I stay,
Where will I go...
Where I'll end up,
I'll never know...
Thank you!

I don't matter smh.
To be honest, at the last part, I thought "where will I stay, where will I go, WHERE DID I COME FROM, COTTON EYED JOE?!"
Are you from somewhere in the southern U.S.?
