Why you want to :

Probably because I want to help other people on what's wrong with their art? I mean I meed help as well but I don't mind criticising art to help people to improve their art ^^

Critique the image below, please be descriptive as possible:

No offense, but the colours used looks like it came out from the 90's kids show. It somehow dull and not vibrant.

Not only that but the shading is a bit off as well. I much prefer if they use other colours to shade it instead of using like a darker colour of the base colour. It just doesn't look that eye catching. I recomment to use other colours, since it's grey, dark pale blue with low opacith should work. I also recommend to put shade more obvious so it kinda pops out a little?

Not only that but on the face, but the lineart seems wonky. I undestand it curves like that but other than that the lineart just seems a little bit shaky.

Last but least are is anatomy. Ok I'm being a bit hypocritical since I myslef can't get anatomy right but when I look at it, it looks like the face is kinda squish to his shoulders? Probably because they draw the shoulders looking really tense and not relax. And as for the head looks squich as well. I recommend to use a circle shape referense instead of an oval. Using an oval shape head reference makes it look like the head is squish or something :confused:

Other than the head the bent legs kinda look unnatural to me. Also, avoid to be lazy and draw the other arm at the back to avoid drawing it. I understand that draw arms and hands are one of the toughest to draw, but keep on doing this and the art will look boring as well as you can't improve drawing them. For example, me. I avoid drawing arms and hands and now they don't even match up to my artstyle. So I advice to avoid doing this if they want to improve.
