The fact that he's not a main character when he should've been which I know it isn't his fault but..
They siphoned attention from him and gave it to Rey. She was good in TFA, but Finn I felt was much more compelling as a protagonist.

No negatives. Honestly, though TFA as a whole wasn't a bad movie, it wasn't original or great, it was the followups that damaged the Star Wars brand name
I agree, it was pretty good by itself, it was just when they made TLJ and TROS that the sequels got bad.
