The Clone Wars has been going on for a little over a year, Clones fighting and dying for the freedom they won’t have. Among the ranks are there several Specialist troopers. ARCs and Commandos among them. This is a story about one of these groups.
Kamino is always what we call home. Returning home is either good or bad. I am RC-0090, but I am called Paladin. I am a Republic Commando and part of the big group called Bravo. We are the second oldest group, only beaten på Alphas and Nulls. I wanna show part of my life.
The rain is pouring down as we walk down the ramp of our ship. To the side, I spot the trainers and their students, but a grunt from our commander gets my attention. Chief is my twin, but I am more the tank than the leader. I got a bigger and broader build than the rest of Bravo, but we are still close as any batch. I remove my helmet, letting my dreadlocks fall down over my back.“Boys.” We look over at the owner of the voice. Our trainer are smaller than us, but we all know he can still wipe the floor with our asses.
Thath Kast is of the old house of Kast, one of the oldest houses on Mandalore, the other two being Vizsla and Kryze. “Sir.” Chief gives him a salute while the rest of us move to stand straighter and more in line.“And you are all safe and unharmed?” Despite that he gives a hard front, Thath Kast has always cared for us. Nursed our health and kept us safe from trouble. We have been given side-eyes from Alphas and Nulls. Chaak caught them talking . “Yes, sir. Paladin and Ragnarok kept us safe.” I look at Ragnarok and we give each other a broad smile. “The droids was confused on why they could see us.” Ragnarok says and Chaak gives a snicker. “Atta boys. Get ready, you are all going to Coruscant. There is going to be a big meeting with all planets. The Guard has called in as many as there can be spared. The Nulls are out and the Alphas can’t leave Kamino, so you boys are going with Delta and Omega squad.” Akdaan and Aran give groans in protest.
“It’s an order, son.” The silence falls over our group and both brothers looks down. “Yes sir.” He waves us away. “Get ready for your travel.” ”Yes, buir.” Perish snarled as we walked past him. Chief walked at my side and we shared a silent look and I frowned slightly. It was almost unheard of that the Coruscant Guard asked for help from the Commandos and ARCs. It could only be because that the Separatists was showing up and they didn’t want chaos.
