Backstory

Charles was born in a wealthy family at the Silverglade Equestrian Centre, the family was known from the generations of professional riders making Charles the next person in line to continue the family tradition, from the moment he could walk he got his first pony, an young energetic Welsh pony.

Like the rumour whispered Charles quickly learnt the bases of riding and were quickly able to compilation after competition.

By being homeschooled he was able to have shorter days in front of the books but the rest of his so called free time was filled with riding classes or travels to competitions.

At a young age, this didn't bother him, he liked the attention, the looks from the other rivals as he heard his own name being called but as time ed he didn't find it pleasing anymore and the stress was taking a toll on him.

One day the stress was too much, he started to take chances at compilations, skipping strides making tighter and tighter turns. Thanks to the well trained horse he was able to make it to the podium over and over again. It was until he actually failed. One turn that caused the last stride to be cut in half, the horse tried to jump but failed miserably, the obstacle fell to the ground making the thuds echo in the riding hall.

He fell to the ground as the horse tripped and as the horse tried to save herself from the fall she accidentally run over Charles. There were no fatal damages but he would have a permanent mark as the hoof made a cut in his eyebrow.

Charles was disqualified on the spot and all he could really think of as he stayed on the ground face up was the disappointment in his parents eyes and the fight that would break out because of his fall.

After the incident he started to look for places to move or rather escape to he found a place, The Goldenleaf stables. A bigger stable that was in need of a riding instructor as well as a horse trainer. He sent way an application and was able to make a special deal with the owner, he would get a room in charge for longer days and a smaller paycheck. He took the job, packed his bags and awaited his 18th birthday and changed his legal name.

Personality

Charles is hardworking and goal oriented, and he hates being bored, and because of his controlled and ruined childhood he haven't really got time to develop a personality nor hobbies. He started to ride because it was a family tradition, he started training because of the social norm, not only that but after applying to a compilation he researches the other riders and horses. These are all habits to him that he thinks are hobbies.

He looks imitating at first glance, at a second glance it is visible that his annoyed expression is due to lack of sleep and that he is in deep thought. In his eyes you can sence somewhat of a calm yet strong and determined spirit, Charles is on the brick of being called heartless from strangers as he doesn't really have a filter and his tired and somewhat annoyed tone only strengthens their opinion.
