Chapter 3

Through the small port holes in the side of the boat light flooded into the small cabin like the neat strokes of a paint brush. Small birds sung and darted between song calling to their friends.

I slowly pushed my eyes open and sat up. Three other body’s lay next to me asleep so I carefully got up and went above deck doing my next not to tread on any outstretched leg or hoof. Once above decks I looked around and I never would of seen a more promising island. It was covered in green luscious grass and his high heathy trees.

I quickly pulled off my riding boots, sat on the side of the boat and slipped carefully off onto the warm water on the beach. As I walked slowly through the shallow waters of the beach and onto the sand I gazed around I awe of the beautiful fields around me. It was perfect everything we wanted and needed. I climbed onto to a rock and stood looking around in awe.

Then I heard splashes behind me and I turned around it was my friends walking towards me hand it hand gazing around as I had done before. So as the sun rose behind us and our new life was infront of us we stood hand in hand gazing around at our new forever home.
