Visiting Firgrove

This morning I packed everything up and brought Kid to the trailer. It wasn’t a very long drive fortunately, but still it took a bit. Well there I unpacked and tacked Kid up and sat up. I steered him towards the entrance of the town and down towards their cross-country tracks.

When we got there I spent some time talking to Minka about the difficulties of the different tracks, as well as what to expect. With us being there so early in the morning we got a nice long while before others showed up wanting to use the tracks.

I started warming Kid up on the path to the starting point for the tracks before heading off and trying a track. We started out on a lighter track, with lower obstacles. It went around the sheep pasture and under the bridge up to the beginning, a really nice scenic track.

The course went by swiftly and with another few tries I wanted to time us to see how good we does now and if we come back more trained how we do then. With Kid´s obvious excitement for the track it felt like we were sure to come back.
