Sundays are lazy days for me, but I got up early as I was eager to get to the riding arena with Summer. I got changed into my black blazer and white riding tros and pulled my boots on. Grabbing my car keys, I left the house. My friend hitched the trailer on my car as I was getting Summer ready.

When we got to the arena, I unloaded Summer. There was a bit of commotion between a group of girls in the dressage arena and I so badly wanted to intervene, but I just walked over to the fence and tied Summer up.

I fed, watered and groomed Summer before tacking her up. My friend had come with me, but had some business to attend to with the Baroness, so she walked up to the manor. Summer was getting restless as the girl's arguing started getting louder. I asked them to lower the volume, but they told me to butt out. The overseer of the hall came out from the show jumping arena and told them to leave, as they were upsetting the horses, they left grumbling, but at least it was quiet now. I finished up with Summer, and rode her into the A arena which was the dressage arena.

I gave her time to warm-up, just to see how long it would take. She warmed up in about ten minutes, so I knew I'd have to be in the waiting area about fifteen minutes before my round in competitions. I gave her a warm-up of walk to trot, then trot to canter. Summer seemed eager, as she had already clocked the jumps as we entered the empty arena to warm-up.

As we started, Summer got a little too eager and clipped one of the obstacles. I reassured her it was ok, and we'll just try again. I got her calm and sound minded first. After that, she flew over the jumps, and I managed to capture some footage on my GoPro.

After we had finished, and I cooled Summer down, I took her back outside and untacked her. I gave her some banana and an apple as a reward and took her back to the trailer, my friend was waiting in the car. We then drove home after an eventful day.
