Here are my answers to the brand new SSOA'S icebreaker challenge questions!

✰ How long have you been playing Star Stable? Do you how you first found out about the game?
I believe I've been playing Star Stable Online since launch (When it was released worldwide). So, probably 2012 or 2013? Meaning, I've been playing for 11 or 12 years!
And as to how I found the game? Little me most likely typed in "horse games".
✰ Tell us about your player character! What’s their name and level? Do you have a backstory for them?
Jane Gladebell is a work in progress. Her current backstory and character sheet is pinned on my profile, but again, she is a work in progress. I'm undecided about who she is, what she is, where she's from, etc. Who knows, she may need a complete overhaul. But as of now, in game, I simply play Jane Gladebell as an extension of myself.
✰ What type of SSO person would you say you are? Leveling-person, high score-person, questline-person, achievement-person, or club events-person? Or are you a completely different breed of Star Stable person?
I definitely switch from what type of player I am. But I'd say I'm more of a questline and achievement type player. It's so satisfying to have a look at your collections book and seeing everything slowly but surely being filled out. The quests have a special place in my heart, particularly the mainline quests, as I'm sure that is the case for most people. I love interacting with the soul riders.
✰ Are you in any teams or clubs?
No, I'm not in any teams or clubs! I find it difficult to find clubs or teams to as an adult player. But it's not really something I'm highly interested in pursuing. If I come across a nice club at some point in the future then I look forward to it.
✰ What’s your favorite in-game horse or breed? What are some things that make you like it more than other horses or breeds?
I'm partial to the likes of a Connemara pony and the Irish cob, moreso than other breeds in the game. Being Irish myself, it's exciting to see my countries native breeds being present in my favourite game.
✰ Do you have any favorite moments or memories from the game?
Playing with my little sister and online friends is a big memory that sticks out to me!
✰ Are there any other favorites that you’d like to mention?
Alex Cloudmill has to be my favourite Soul Rider. She reminds me vaguely of Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. I love the tomboy cast character, always. No matter what piece of media! I'm always drawn to such personalities.
✰ What’s your least favorite thing about the game, if any?
I have no idea why, but I still have not gotten used to Steve's Farm remodel, or Silverglade village for that matter. My muscle memory re the paths of the previous layout so that's possibly what I dislike? I dislike a lot of game mechanics that have been removed from SSO over the years that made the game more immersive, in my opinion. For example, grooming/feeding only being allowed at/near barns, having to press W repeatedly to keep your horse going, your horse getting hungry/thirsty after a while of playing, etc. There's a lot more I'm missing I'm sure but that's all I can think of right now!
✰ Do you have any dream update that you wish the Star Stable Team would add?
I think it would be cool if we had customisable profiles, for both player and horse. We could add little bios and such. That feels like it would be a nice addition.
✰ Now to our billion-dollar question: are you a soul rider, or are you a dark rider?
Sabine makes this question really hard... but, I'm saying soul rider.
