hey everyone! it’s adrian back again with the second part of my red string trail ride post! this is when i go back the second day to take toffee onto the trail. hope you all enjoy!

another day, another ride! i’m taking toffee back to the trail for another hike, since today was also a beautiful day. we had stayed at firgrove for the night so that we could just get back on the trail without having to travel. i had gotten toffee, who was excited to go on the trail as much as i was. i tacked him up and we headed out, soon arriving at the trail. i took it easy just to make sure toffee got us footing, then clicked him into an extended canter.

once we got up on the trail trail, i slowed him to a trot so that we could both look around at our surroundings. i could tell that he was loving the view from up here, so we stopped for a scenic view. as you may have thought already, my photography friend came along.

we headed up the trail in a different direction than yesterday, wanting to get as much out of it as we could. toffee likes smelling (and eating) the flowers on the trail so i had to make sure he didn’t, nOt after how he stole an apple from the basket yesterday. he’s such a thief.

we kept going up the trail, across the log, but turned another way instead of going to where the red strings are. we took a path that brought us down a bit and away from all the commotion, so we rested for a bit there.

another photographer who was looking for someone to take pics of came up to me to ask if they could take some pictures of toffee and i. i gladly accepted, and we got everything set up for it. they were really nice and funny, and i managed to get this picture they took.

after that we made our way back down the trail. we had seen a lot and luckily i had time to go to the trail since it is closing down on Wednesday. since this is all the time we have for today, i hope you all enjoyed! this is adrian, g out.
