A few days after the open house, I wanted to try jumping Libra over larger jumps. I attached part of her lunging gear and led her out to the arena. One jump was perfectly set up for practicing. I had Libra trot around a few times, she definitely sensed she was trying something new.
Once she was warmed up, I trotted her up to a few jumps. Some may say my methods are not good, but it is something I do before trying new things with Libra. After a few free jumps, I led her up to the larger on and let go of her reins. She stopped for a moment, before jumping it hesitantly. I led her again to the jump. Libra flew over it and was very proud of herself.
