The Unfortunate Dews, Where Are They Now?

Hello! Lorecan here!

We all the midsummer festival, right? Well I’ve been thinking. If you talked to each NPC they said something interesting, but something our good ol’ friend Maya said was very interesting. Luckily, I was able to snap a picture of it.

So what does this mean? Is it a clue to the long lost Dews? Maybe we have some blood descendants from the Dews, where we can gather the clues to their disappearance? Well that’s what today’s theory is! Let’s get right into it!

One: Living off of Jorvik?

It is possible the Dews could be living off of Jorvik, with only Maya as the only Living descendant living on the island. The Unfortunate Dews and the Fortunate Dews could be the same family, just with different names? She said her family had an estate in Epona called “The Fortunate Dews”. Maybe, if anything, the Dews were attacked or had a fire burn down their stable, they might had moved off the island after that; since they had lost everything and it would be financially easier for them to be living off of the island.

Two: One Living Descendant?

This may be a sad part, but what if the Dews weren’t able to survive whatever happened to them? What if, when Maya was a child, a fire had burned down the stable and her and a sibling were able to survive? It’s possible, but that wouldn’t really explain why it’s still standing. The family could have been easily been attacked and killed in some way, and Maya and one of her other family were able to survive, and live to this point?

Three: Cousins, or Relatives?

The Fortunate Dews and the Unfortunate Dews might not be the same family. These families may be cousins or other relatives. The Unfortunate Dews may have disappeared, and the Fortunate Dews may have disappeared, while Maya eventually came back to Jorvik. Maybe the families didn’t even know each other! They might not be family, just friends with the same name or two families living in the Harvest Counties that didn’t even know about each other. We will never know, unless SSO releases some more information.
